A canvas is a folder.
The files are yours.
Every canvas maps to a real Finder folder. Notes are plain Markdown. Images and files keep their original formats. Even if you remove put·here, what you saved stays yours.
- Deleted items go to Recently Deleted, then Finder Trash.
- Each canvas remembers its position and zoom.
- You choose when to tidy the canvas. The change is undoable.

The current 0.11.0 release is free to download, with no account. AI is optional: bring your own API key (your provider may charge for usage), or connect local Ollama.
Will AI change my canvas on its own?
AI researches and creates source and finding cards in a separate workspace. You control your main canvas: you start AI grouping, can undo it, and keep the groups you made. Connections are drawn by you; relationship labels are optional.
What leaves my Mac?
No AI setup means no AI requests. Local Ollama processes content on your Mac; cloud models receive the text needed for that feature. Research fetches pages without your cookies or login state. Link previews contact the original site (you can turn them off), and the app checks for updates at launch. The app has no telemetry, accounts, or cloud sync. The manual explains each data limit. Can I share a canvas?
You can export a share bundle. Hosted publishing to a link currently requires an invitation code and is not part of the standard download experience.
What is new in this release?
0.11.0 adds working windows and a dock, AI research with sources, manual connections, and writing tools for tables, image alignment, and block selection. Report a Problem is available in Help. Runs on Intel and Apple silicon, with macOS 14 or later.

My thoughts used to go wherever was closest: WeChat File Transfer, the desktop, a temporary note. Weeks later, everything still existed. In theory. So I made put·here: put things down, let their positions leave a clue, and ask AI to help organize or investigate when you need it.
